Our Beliefs

We Believe...

• The Bible is Gods word to mankind.
  It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.
• We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things.
• God exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
• The God of the Bible is totally loving and completely Holy.
• We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and his purpose for our lives.
• We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and Man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
• We believe in order to receive forgiveness and to be "born again spiritually" we must repent - that is turn away from our sins, commit our lives to Jesus Christ and follow His will in our lives.
• That in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us , we need to obey Gods commands. This entails being baptized in water and being filled with the Holy Spirit.
• The Holy Spirit gives us power to be a witness for Christ and enables us to use spiritual gifts.
• God has equipped each believer to fulfill His purpose. His purpose is that we would worship him with our lives, honour Him in our family and serve him by being committed to His church and reaching out to the community.
• That the local church as a part of Christ's body has a vital part to play in bringing life and hope to the community. Helping people grow and deepen their faith in Christ so in turn they can live fulfilled and fruitful lives.
• Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. He has the power to heal and transform lives both spiritually and physically.
• Our eternal destination of either Heaven or Hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
